Nonintrusive architecture lets us experience nature and human creation simultaneously. As long as modernism and nature are defined as conflicting domains and not integrated networks, the universal idea of what we consider ‘progress’ has failed. We cannot think of the ‘field’ of architecture without thinking about politics, history, behavioral science, sustainability, health, writing etc.
